Dear Parents and Guardians,

Friends of Pomperaug Music, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was formed in 1999 by parents of Region 15 music students, with the simple purpose of providing opportunities for students to succeed through continuous excellence in music.

Over 200 students participate in music ensembles, band, orchestra and chorus. Each year we support these talented musicians and the PHS music program through initiatives such as organizing community events and service, sponsoring music students’ participation in regional and national music programs and student fees for families in need. We also fund multiple annual Music Scholarships, which are awarded to graduating PHS seniors each June. Since 2001 we have had nearly forty deserving scholarship recipients!
